Arabian rice with kababs2015-01-10

- Rice (Soaked) 3cup
- Star Anise (Badiyan) 1
- Clove 3
- Black Pepper 3-4
- Chicken Stock 2-3 tbsp
- Yellow Food Colour 1-2 pinch Salt to Taste
- for kabobs: half kg mince
- salt 1tsp
- red chilli powder 1 1/2 tsp
- whole coriander crushed 1/tsp
- green chilli chopped 2
- lemon juice 2 tsp
- ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- 1 onion fried brown and crushed
- tikka masala (optional)
for rice : Boil water with star anise, clove and whole black pepper. When half done, drain from water. Put half portion of rice in a plate and add pinch of yellow food colour and mix. In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil, add all boiled rice. Put salt, 3-4 tbsp stock and cover lid let it steam for 5-8 minutes.
for kabobs: mix all above ingredients into ground mince and marinate .
take skillet or frying pan make patties in kabob shapes .
grease pan with butter and grill kabobs til brown and tender. serve with Arabian rice .
