Ingredients

  • Rice ½ kg
  • Fennel Seeds 2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds 2 tsp
  • Onion 1
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Spring Onion 250 gms
  • Green Peas ½ kg
  • Green Coriander ½ bunch
  • Mint leaves ½ bunch
  • Green Chilies 4
  • Garlic Cloves 4
  • Lemon Juice 4 tbsp

Method

Step 1

Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pot and brown 4 tbsp onions in it. In a blender roughly chop 2 tsp fennel seeds, 2 tsp cumin seeds, ½ bunch fresh coriander, ½ bunch fresh mint, 4 green chillies, 4 garlic cloves and 4 tbsp lemon juice.

Step 2

Now add this mixture into the fried onions.Along with this add ½ green peas and mix everthing well on high heat.

Step 3

To this add 1 glass of water . When it boils once or twice add ½ kilo pre- soaked rice.

Step 4

Once the rice has simmered, add 250 gms spring onions and turn off the heat
