Ingredients

  • Strawberry Cream Pudding 1⁄3 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1⁄4 cup Strawberry Syrup
  • 1 package (11 ounces) white chocolate chips
  • sliced strawberries, for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Strawberry Syrup: 1 pound strawberries, quartered (about 21⁄2 cups cut strawberries)
  • 3⁄4 cup water
  • 3⁄4 cup sugar

Method

Step 1

Strawberry Cream Pudding In a heavy-bottomed medium saucepan, stir together sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in milk. Stir in strawberry syrup. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture begins to boil and thicken, 8 to 10 minutes.

Step 2

Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in chocolate chips. Continue stirring until smooth and chocolate chips have melted. Pour into jars. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve warm or chilled. Garnish with strawberries.

Step 3

Strawberry Syrup In a medium saucepan, bring strawberries, sugar, and water to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Let cool slightly, transfer to a blender, and process until smooth. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve and discard solids. Cover and chill in the refrigerator.
